How can we help?

Answers for the Hamdosh iPhone and Android apps and hamdosh.com — and how to reach a person.

Effective 2026-09-26

Hamdosh is made by MavenHandle. This page covers the Hamdosh apps for iPhone and Android and the website at hamdosh.com.

In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Hamdosh is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It does not give medical advice.

Contact us

Please don’t email us medical records or other health information. We never need them to help you.

Signing in

  • Create an account in the app or at hamdosh.com/signup.
  • Forgot your password? Tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen. We email you a link to set a new one. The link works once and expires after an hour.
  • Two-step verification. If you turned it on, enter the code from your authenticator app after your password, or use one of your backup codes.
  • Signed out unexpectedly? For your privacy, the app signs you out after a period of inactivity unless App Lock (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) is on. Turn it on in Me → App lock.

Scanning and reviewing documents

  • Tap Add and choose Scan a document, Choose photos, or Choose a PDF or file. You can add several pages at once.
  • Hamdosh reads each document and fills in the details it finds: medicines, doses, dates, results, and so on. Before it reads your first document, the app asks for your permission, because documents are read by AI models that run on a third-party cloud computing provider. See our Privacy Policy for details. You can withdraw that permission any time in Me → AI & privacy.
  • Why is a field wrong? AI can make mistakes, especially with handwriting, faint print, or glare. Always check what was read against the original document, and correct any field on the review screen. Retaking a photo in good light, flat and straight, usually helps.

Subscriptions

Hamdosh has a free plan. Paid plans can be bought in the app or on the website, and each one is managed where you bought it.

  • Bought on iPhone (App Store): open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also open this from Me → Plan in the app.
  • Bought on Android (Google Play): open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Bought on the website: sign in at hamdosh.com and go to Settings → Plan & billing.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid the next charge; you keep access until the period ends. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. For website purchases, contact us.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the store first.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app (Me → Account & data → Delete account), on the website, or by email if you can’t sign in. See Delete your Hamdosh account for every option and exactly what is deleted.

Privacy and security

  • Privacy Policy: what we collect, which providers process it, and your rights.
  • Terms of Service: including subscriptions and AI features.
  • Security: how your records are encrypted and protected.
