Hamdosh is not a medical device, does not provide medical advice, and does not replace consultation with qualified healthcare professionals. All treatment-history insights are informational, derived from your own records, and should be discussed with your doctor.
By accessing or using Hamdosh, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
Hamdosh (“we,” “us,” or “the Service”) provides a private, family-oriented medical record management tool with treatment-outcome capture and search. The Service is informational. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for any medical decision.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may add records of children or other family members only if you have the legal authority to do so (e.g., parent, legal guardian, or someone with appropriate consent).
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Notify us immediately at
security@hamdosh.comif you suspect unauthorized access. - You may not share your account credentials. If a household member needs access, use the in-app consent-grant flow.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload data you do not have the right to upload, or use the Service to violate any law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or model weights from the Service.
- Use the Service to provide diagnostic services, regulated clinical decision support, or any output that would require FDA clearance or equivalent regulatory approval.
- Upload PHI of any person for whom you do not have proper consent or legal authority.
5. Intellectual property
- Your data is yours. You retain full ownership of every record you upload and every entry you create. You grant us only the limited license necessary to operate the Service for you (store, process, display back to you, and run OCR/extraction).
- The Service software, design, branding, and trademarks are ours.
6. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. We will never sell your PHI and will never train external models on it without your explicit consent.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of OCR, completeness of extracted fields, and uninterrupted availability.
Medical disclaimer (repeated for emphasis): Hamdosh does not provide medical advice. Treatment-history outputs are derived solely from records you have uploaded. They are not validated against current medical literature, drug interactions, allergies, or clinical context. Discuss every medical decision with a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Hamdosh, its affiliates, and its personnel for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).
In no event will we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hamdosh, its affiliates, and personnel from any claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Service, or (c) your upload of data without proper authorization.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, or if we reasonably believe your account is being used for prohibited activity. On termination, you may export your data; we will delete it within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 30 days in advance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Hamdosh’s operating entity is incorporated (placeholder — to be specified before public launch). Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except that you may bring small-claims actions where you reside.
